Anyone who is politically awake is aware of the deep philosophical divisions within our country between liberals and conservatives, creating a silent civil war between brothers and sisters, parents and children. We have rising unemployment, expensive bailouts and stimulus and rapidly rising national debt. At this time we are again faced with the President and Congress forcing big government, big spending and Big Brother upon us, creating a bigger bureaucracy, a bigger deficit and eroding our freedom of choice.
The current administration kowtows to large corporations, such as GE and GM, labor unions and financial institutions while wiping away their tears for the uninsured and poor, leaving the middle class standing aghast with their mouths hanging open with the knowledge that THEY – and their children—are going to be the ones that pay for all of the bailouts, medical care, corporate takeovers, war and medical programs.
Corruption in Washington is at an all time high with ACORN in charge of our elections and census and socialist czars in charge of the White House. Meanwhile, confidence in our elected congressmen has dipped to an all-time low.
I am going to tell you how to clean up Washington, how to decrease unemployment, balance the budget and give the poor medical care. It will require change, it will require sacrifice on everyone’s part and it will not be fun, but if we want to preserve our American way of life, we have to protect it financially as well as militarily. Or, we can continue spending and learn to speak Chinese.
Today is September 11, 2009 and today we remember the terrorist attacks from eight years ago today and promise to never forget. We all remember where we heard that the towers had fallen and I remember that I watched the second plane fly into the World Trade Tower.
Freedom is not free and it is time to stop spending and start investing in our future.
Please stay tuned.
